Exactly. Which goes back to the question my wife asked me.

If a neighbor up the street had a new BMW and another a Porsche, which one would you go look at first?

No contest.

[quote=YellowBirdII;235319]Well, I went to check out the new M3 at the local dealer in Berkeley, CA this morning. They have a nice white one on the floor. It's actually a pretty car in my view. Less of the Bangled rear end nonsense going on. But, it sure is a big car by my standards.

Anyway here is what I found laughable. There is a $15,000 dealer markup on top of the MSRP of around $56k, plus another $15,000 of "dealer installed options." WOW WOW WOWIE! What recession?QUOTE]

Are you serious, the new M3 is already up for sale in the US? Did it have the dual clutch transmission? I am curios to know, because I read the dual clutch will take about a year to arrive, but others in this forum said productions starts in June/July.

Yes, I am serious.

I don't know if the car has a dual clutch tranny.

The thing is so big, and over-priced (I mean the pricing I previously mentioned; not the MSRP) I lost interest quickly.
