Between Two Loves

Once again, my 16 year old son has thrown a wrench into the works.

Tonight he forwarded me this link:

I'm with you there. But if I were considering a Mercedes, I really would have to throw in an "L", a "K", oh yeah, and a "Black"

Only benz I like is the GL Diesel...Well maybe the new sl65 black series. Just something unnatural about an auto in a sports car.

Yeah, probably. I had an order for a 997.2 but I think I'm going to defect to a GTR. I'm not in any great rush because I don't expect the GTR for about 4 or 5 months.

It's an impressive car for sure. I liked the previous version, and I really like this one. If it had a manual tranny, it would have been on my short shopping list before I bought the CS.

One thing I don't like,.....the engine note. It just doesn't sound like a V8, almost sounds like a big motorcycle to me,.....anyone else?

Which engine note are you speaking of which doesn't sound like a V-8?

Same engine tuned up a little more......6.2L. You're talking an additonal 50 hp but more than twice the price for those hp in the Black Series.

Drove the V-8 C63 AMG today. Sounds like a V8 from inside, but more importantly, scoots like a V8. I have enjoyed visiting this forum while having the Cayman fever, however, the Merc stole my heart as soon as I punched it today. My hat is off to all the members here. See you out on the road!
