The magazine is now out (in the UK, at least)! It includes my comparison of the Cayman S with a 997 C2S
Sorry I can't post the feature, the editor would skin me alive (not for the first time, either...).
Rod - I mislaid your address, please send it to me again for your free copy. Also, sorry that the editor mis-spelled your name in the credits (I didn't get to proof-read those).

Without cutting and pasting the article, can you give us an overview? I don't know that I've seen this magazine in the U.S. Do they have a website with the article on it? Calling mpollard, calling mpollard!
The website is at Total911.com - it's still showing last month's issue (the one pictured above) but should be updated very soon. The May issue only comes out OFFICIALLY tomorrow...
An overview? Well, I love 911s and I do write for a magazine called Total 911, but I hope you will agree that it's a fair feature. I'm not one for just spouting stuff that I think the readers might want to hear. I write about way that things really feel for me, as the driver.
Let's just say I'm expecting a bit of flak from a certain corner of the 911-owning world. Fortunately, and contrary to what you might sometimes think, most 911 owners are open-minded and are quite capable of accepting that a Cayman is something very special...
I have no problem with Total 911 as a title, nor sibling rivalary, which is good for the whole family. It's fratricide that I object to! Looking forward to the article, thanks.
Perhaps a sister publication is in order - 'Total Cayman' or more broadly 'Total 987' or even more broadly 'Mid Engine Porsche - The way it was meant to be....'
