Ok it isn't really so much of a vs. video, but rather me following the M3 around the track for a lap and then him letting me by. He had better tires for the rain than I did, cars we pretty equal in the straights one faster than the other depending on who had the better exit, although I was just lagging around the track in 3rd gear most of the time trying to focus on the line and staying on the track as opposed to shifting a lot. I was faster in the corners and given a dry track I'm pretty confident the Cayman S would be the faster car given equal drivers. The driver of this M3 is very good.
Great, can never have too many videos! Any way to get better DL speeds from the server? I'm loping along at about 58k / second...21 minutes on this DL.
With about 50 people online and others downloading the video at the same time, that's probably pretty good actually... I find certain times of the day seem to be better than others too... well for the next 21 minutes you can watch MTV or something...
Vid came out good. Quality is excellent and position is about perfect. I found myself wanting to be able to see the tach / digital readout a couple times so that I could see what you were doing...and that wind noise really sucks, or blows, depending on how you view it...
Yea, that would be great. If you can eliminate the wind noise so we can hear the engine / exhaust we'll have a good idea on speed / gear, etc. Impossible with that 'wind rush'...
