...and everyone please pray for hot sun to melt the rumored 2 feet of snow blanketing the track right now!

I won't be tracking but I did volunteer to a corner worker. I haven't heard anything back yet from CVRPCA. Joel I assume you and Craig got your cars back from Farnbacker/Loles ? I saw them only a few weeks ago at the tech session there.

I'm not sure they have all of 2' of snow. I don't live that far from LRP and I got under 12". Worst case you might have water from melting snow on the track.

Not to change the subject but did you know that SCCA is trying to build another 2.14 mile track in central MA. Looks like the town (Palmer) is all for it and most of the permits have been approved, they are looking for money now. There is a nice article in the latest "Pit Stop" mag put out by SCCA.

Good news about the snow. Someone on Rennlist had been out to see the track and there are big drifts on the track in some places.

Don't have the car yet - will get it next week on the way to the track.

I did hear about the new track and can't wait for it to open. They said last year, now they say this year...

Joel I was just at the CVRPCA web site checking out the cars registered for the LRP March DE and didn't see your name there. I didn't see any Caymans listed for that matter in any run group. ?? Are you still in?

I am in on Friday. Waitlist on Saturday. They haven't updated the list yet. And they don't have an option for Cayman yet. They list it as OTHER! They promised last year to fix it, but it isn't done yet....

sorry i'll be a pocono for a nasa instructor training.

I signed up about 3 weeks ago, and was very much looking forward to my first DE ... yes, the "other" category for Cayman was a bit concerning. However, I'm still on the waitlist for both days. I checked in with Dave B. to get any first timer tips, but it sounds like a looooong list (especially for my class), and he told me it looked very unlikely to come through. So at this point, I'm hoping to get in on the next scheduled DE as I understand waitlisted members get some sort of preference next time around :-)
