I searched and could not find anything. I'll be on a relatively fast, open course but not fast enough to get the wing up. Should I manually raise it or leave it alone?

There have been a few courses I've been on where speeds got up past the 75 mph wing-deployment speed, but that's the exception, not the rule. I leave it down, and if speeds warrant, it will think for itself. I can't imagine that at the speeds on the average AX, it would make a difference to have it up.
But what you guys are overlooking is the psyc factor when your non-winged competitors see your wing go up as you approach the line.
They will look at you and think...wow...this guy is serious...he MUST be very fast. I could'nt possibly beat that guy. Its almost as good as talking trash before a run.
But you might get "wing envy" when a GT3 or and Mitsubishi EVO pulls up next to you.
