Look at all the cars leaving the "false Grid" to start the endurance race. You'll see a red #5 964 pull out first and is on the pole. I was warned to watch him all day while I was flagging because he has a tendency to drive very aggressive, too aggressive. Anyway on the drop of the green flag he made it to turn 1 and then spun out with all those cars screaming down on him. Believe it or not, no accidents and the rest of the field continued on. #5 got going again now dead last and having to catch up to the rest of the pack. The #5 car fought his way back to pass into 4th place on the last lap, lapping most of the rest of the field. He was voted by the corner workers as the most outstanding driver of the race.
Good work on the video. You must have gotten a good workout running all the way to the back of no name straight to get some of those shots.
Thanks!, Yea it was good cardio day, thank god I chose to pack super light. I shot 45min of film and only 2 min of it could be used...

Thanks,
Heh I overheard that too from one of the workers. I would love to get my hands on the in car or above car footage of him fighting from the back of the grid. I wish the Mantis team would release some of the footage they tape from the race, their car was rigged with multiple cameras.
Please can the crappy heavy metal music? O.K.?. Makes it unwatchable, unless you're tone deaf. On that note, why is it that so many wanna-be video producers / boy racers think that the world actually likes their car vidoes gummed up with junk soundtracks? If that's you style, go watch some Hollywood rice-racer Fast and Furious film for the dumbed-down masses. I prefer the sounds of a flat six unadulterated.

Hahaha, since you put it so nicely, I can render it with no music in the background and extend the clips so you get more "flat six unadulterated."

I have every size from 320 to 1080i (I made it for my 23-inch screen, don't know if anyone else really needs that) and that ranges upto 1-Gig in size...What's your limit?

Call me old fashioned but politeness and good manners should be the rule and not the exception. How difficult would it be to say, "Thank you for the video. Would it be possible to delete the musical background, since I prefer to listen to the "music" of the engine."??? Isn't this preferable to a rude and uncalled for attack on the effort, and tastes, of the poster? Not a particularly noteworthy contribution to the forums after all of 2 postings.
