NER SCCA new Track

As was discussed here a few days ago under another thread title, the NER SCCA is in the process of building a new 2+ mile track in Palmer, Ma. Since I am a member of SCCA I received a letter from them a few days ago regarding the future track.

According to the letter everything is set and they are fund raising through the fall and will be breaking ground this winter. they were offering the opportunity for SCCA members to get on the ground floor and invest before they go looking for larger sponsorships. They are predicting the track will be turning a profit within 3 years. They also predict the track will be open for racing by 2009.

I'm not posting this trying to sell any memberships, I am just pointing out that it looks like we will have a new track here in central New England within 2 years. I can't wait and hope it will be open to the PCA and other clubs just not SCCA races.
