My first SCCA event

I got to see my first Auto-X. It was pretty exciting. "Poser" had invited me, he's been participating in these events for seven years and was amazingly fast. He said the course was alittle tighter than usual, but I thought it was like racing in my living room. It was ridicuously tight. He took me and later my son for a couple of laps. The sound of the Cayman speeding by and sliding around was unbelievable! Here are a few pics.

Also, a great big THANKS to POSER!

That sounds like a heck of a lot of fun! Are you going to start running your own car? I'm starting to think along those lines. I guess I need to join the SCCA again.

I did that 40 years ago in a Triumph Spitfire. (Damn. I'm old! ) I think it would be a lot more fun in a Cayman.

Yea, I guess my son was very excited about it, so we will probably join soon. The Cayman just sounds and looks fast on the course. Its awesome!

I wish we had a real track to run.
