Question What are the best AX Tires

Hi Guys!
I just joined the Cayman Club and thought you might have some input/experience on this subject. I ran our last PCA AX of the season today and it was wet! After 5400 miles (mostly track) I have nearly no tread left on my factory Michellin tires. I should ideally have two sets of tires (dry and wet), but what is out there for 19" wheels?

Not much for 19s in R compounds. The only ones that I know of are Michelin Pilot Sport Cups and Pirelli P Zero Corsa System. I usually run 18" Cups, but have run the OE PS2s 5 or 6 times. For street tires they work pretty well. If you plan to get another set of wheels for autocrossing, you might consider 18", as there are more tire options in that diameter.

Hoosier A6. KACHING! Sadly, Kuhmo 710s are not made in 19's.

Personally I'd look for a set us used 18" take offs, cheap, and fit 710s on. Keep the 19s for street use and rains autocross, use the 18s for the dry.

right now hoosier a6's are about a fast of a tire as you can get but driving to an event is not an option. If you have standard ride hieght and the xrr optioned wheels a 295/30/19 will work but be prepared to work the understeer
