Question Recommendations for non-Porsche racing buckets

I've done some searching without success . . .

I'd like to have some light-weight racing buckets to use for track events, but I don't want to spend $2-3K for a set of GT3 or GT2 seats. Does anyone have any recommendations for less expensive seats that are light-weight, compatible with the Cayman, and not too much fuss to install and remove?

Thanks in advance!

Well, something like that seat would be nice - I presume with a fiberglass shell and fabric lining - but aren't you located in GB (i.e. high shipping cost)?

One of the most comfy seats ever is the one VW used for the Mk4 R32. I believe this is the Konig K5000.

The bolsters are SO deep and hold you from sliding so well!

Those look nice - but I think they're a lot heavier than what I'm looking for since they have steel frames and are fully adjustable - I'm looking for somthing simpler (like the seat in Tess Tickle's picture above).

I need seats too! I put in the DMC harness bar and harnesses this year and can't use them next year unless I have race seats - PCA rule change.

They are available in GRP, Composite, Hybrid (Kevlar-Carbon) and all Carbon.
Yes it's going to cost something like $150 to ship from the UK, but if I do a "good deal" then it need not cost a fortune. You can have the cover made in what suits budget as well.

We could embroider a nice pink CAYGIRL on the seats as well

Karel I posted on the GB section that I have some Sand Alcantara coming next week. as soon as I get it I send a sample to you pronto. As soon as you say yes, you can have "Your" seat within Days.......That's a Pro3 with a Kevlar/Carbon (like a bee) shell in Bright FO YELLOW with Sand Beige wear patches........to match the Yellow Peril

Okay, now I'm getting interested - a few more questions:

What is the weight of the GRP and Composite seats?

Does the price (shown on the link above) include rails/mounting hardware and is any drilling involved?

What are the differences between this seat and the Clubman seat?
