Here is a video from a 1:11 lap today at the GGR AX 2 event. Not my best day. Just couldn't put it all together.
I used the suggestions of several of you to move the PIP insets and its much better. Thanks. And thanks to passenger/instructor Alan Jung for guidance on the course.
Damn, here in the Northeast the whole track would have been set up in a 1/3 of the space and there would be potholes, weeds and cracks in the pavement. I'd love to try a wide open track like that on a clean smooth surface..
awesome video! very clean run - it was a great course this time. thanks for posting!

That was a great course. It was wide open, but still challenging.
Most of my morning runs where in the 1:11 range. It wasn't until my final run that I was able to break into the 1:09s. Each afternoon run, I was able to wittle away about 4/10s at a time.
That was a Fun day! We where in opposite run groups so I did not get a chance to say HI!
So last run I did a 113.4, wife did a 119.? our second auto cross.
One thing I did notice in your video and a bunch of us caymanites where talking about , was how to enter that loop section, without getting understeer. I tried multiple different things and just could not make it around without it, as will everyone else ( including you :-) ) My wife actually spun at that point ( she had the slowest time of the day with no DNF ( 215 ) ) Any suggestions on this one?

On my last run of the day, which was also my quickest, at the entrance to the loop, I decided to take it way, way slow. I had understeer all day at that corner. I slowed down like I had done all day, then I slowed some more. It made it very smooth, and I was able not to slide all over the place. And I didn't slide all the way out to the edge.
Whether this had an actual affect on my time, or not, I can't be sure, because there were too many other places where I may have done something different anyway.

I hit the brakes right at the big cone before going into the loop... seemed to help me go around the corner and setup for the next one... I kept understeering in the other tight ones, but I felt it help me...

That is what they call 'Slow in, Fast Out" and is always good advice. I should have tried it. Instead, I was trying to drift the car into the loop.
Overall though: $30, 10 minutes of driving and 7 hours and 50 minutes of waiting, plus a sun burn. In terms of dollars per driving-minute, tracking at TH is cheaper, certainly less then $3/minute.
With Hooked on Driving at TH you get about 110 min of track time for ~$285, or $2.59/min. PCA is about the same, as I recall.
