Lightbulb Pagid Sports - In stock April 24th

These are a bit quieter than Pagid Oranges and are quite track capable.
Same price as Pagid Oranges!

Arriving April 24th as part of my stocked items "due to popular demand"

PAGID Racing

Sport Applications

The S-Line
also called Sport Pads or CS Club Sport Pads
The Sport Pad is a high performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold-friction. . It is rotor friendly and suitable for street and light track use. The level of innovation, technology, and engineering PAGID put into the Sport Pads guarantees superb stopping power with acceptable levels of noise, dusting, and wear. In addition a majority of the "S" Line is standard with anti-noise shims. Available for many Audi, BMW, Porsche and VW applications.

PAGID "S" Brake Pads are dipped in a anti-corrosion blue paint, with a layer also on the friction surface. This paint coating will disintegrate during the first braking applications without any loss of friction compared to our other non-coated compounds

What do you think of the new RS5? Ceramic backing means that the dust maybe easier to live with. But I have no clue if it can be driven on the street or will eat rotors.

Medium friction race compound - I would surmise that it wouldn't be quiet -

**They are in**

I've started carrying a nice alternative:

Pagid Sports!
Very similar to Pagid Orange BUT they have an attached nose suppression plate to make them even quieter.

Track worthy, fully streetable, typically acceptable dust & noise -

Picture 3 is the front of a Cayman S
Picture 1 is the rear of all Caymans
Picture 2 is the front of non-S Cayman

Same price as Pagid Orange -

***Until I modify the website, order the Oranges and specify in the comments section that you wish to purchase the SPORTS***

THANKS!

Front Cayman S (and all 996)

Rear all Cayman (and all 996)

Front non-S Cayman

I'm looking to replace the OEM pads due to the dust it produces. Will these be equivalent with respect to performance & noise level? Also how rotor friendly is it? Can I just take my OEM off and put these on without any issues? I'm only planning to use these for regular street use, however I would like to keep the same level of performance as the OEM. Thanks!

These things are variable, but in general:

OEM pads are usually quite silent - but very, very soft -- and powdery black crud is the rule.
-These pads are less dusty, with the dust itself lighter in color.
-You may/will hear at least some noise
-100% compatibility with Pagids, and OEM partner with Porsche for GT2 and GT3 cars

To me, it's all worth it and folks report up to 2X the track wear compared to OEM -

-The Blue 4-2 are very close to the RS44 Orange
-4-2-1 aka the Sport pads; quieter and a tad tamer than the Oranges

Craig ~ any chance these Pagid Sport pads also come in a front 993 Twin Turbo (sometimes known or refered to as "Big Reds") caliper size? The 993 pad is say @ 15% or so larger than the stock Cayman S pad. Thanks, Mike P.
