I agree it's not optimal, but since I'm restricted on rim width, it's about getting the most grip I can - that's why you see the national level guys running 285's on 8" rims in B Stock.

I ended up finding a set of used 18" boxster wheels on ebay that came w/ full treaded PS2s - I'll use the extra set of PS2's for fun DD and the rims for the RE-01R's that I picked up for AutoX.
