Alex@Princeton and I are both in the club race this weekend at Watkins Glen. Wish us luck!
If any CaymanClubbers are going to watch, be sure to find me and say hi. It was great to see all of you at the Lime Rock race. I will be at the FarnbacherLoles trailer.

I was told that in PCA club racing "The Clash" held at Watkins Glen is THE event. The best club racers in the country show up. As I was leaving the paddock at the Glen late Tuesday, three big rigs/trailers from TRG "The Racers Group" pulled in, followed by "Carlson" Porsche's equally big rig. Wish I could be there............
Go for it Joel!

It was quite the race! Lots of pro racers there. The cup car field was about 40 strong. Great event to watch.
Unfortunately, my event was plagued with mechanical problems. First a broken shock tower mount (which we fixed), then the brake system failed (possible ABS pump issue, but we aren't sure yet). Farnbacher had Spencer Cox and their A team on it (they had the ALMS crew working the event!), but we couldn't fix it at the race.
The good news was that I qualified first for H (qualifying time 2:12.4) and 4th overall for the stock classes. Another good run for the Cayman (but I left a lot on the table, since my setup was off, which turned out to be the broken shock mount).
Alex did great as well. He won the corner worker's award and placed well in the races. I will let him fill you in since I had to leave the event early and not sure what the final results were...
