Except that isn't a Cayman, that's a modified 911 Turbo also the person in the Viper is lucky they weren't killed, goes to show you how easily those cars can lose control...

"Those cars"? The ones with over 1000hp that are racing on dusty airport tarmac? The ones with questionable driving skill? or just vipers in general?
Dunno if you have driven a Viper at the track but besides being big, they really, really move..and turn and stop. Cayman's for breakfast if well driven.

Also a gentle reminder of why it might be a dandy idea to confine testosterone-influenced antics to organized driving events on a closed circuit, vs. using humans as armco-barriers in the run off area.

I think this was done by some people who love ricers, but happened to have passed through Germany on their way to the USA.

They even have the Fast and Furious stuff going on with the girl in the middle of the cars telling them to start. Kudos to them for "keeping it real" for that and with the "drama" at the end that no ricer induced event should be without, thats what keeps 'em coming back.

I think there is a CC member who has the signature "power without control is meaningless"? Now you know what he is referring to.

Cars don't lose control, their drivers do! Both cars are probably modified enough that stereotyping their performance based on this video is pretty pointless.

Am I the only guy around here who watches this and thinks, "Wow. Looks like fun."?

What a bunch of gun store clerks.

"Yer gonna poke yer eye out with that Viper, kid."

No, looks like a ton of fun to me too... nothing wrong with being a delinquent when you rent an airport all to yourself!~

Just watched that event on Speed’s Supercars Exposed. Claus himself was driving his CEC Techart Porsche with 620hp that lost the final to another modified 997 turbo. Besides the people acting as barriers they had the base’s National Guard helicopters lining the runways.

Oh, this is from that show Supercars Exposed.
I like the cars they show in that show but my god that host is annoying.
I got it on Tivo, got to watch it later.

Now I'm sure the majority of you already watch it, but if you have not seen it, Please PLEASE watch Top Gear. The best ones, unfortunately, needs to be downloaded but you can also catch it on BBCA (BBC America). I say the downloaded ones are better becuase the ones on BBCA are edited like mad.
