Mid-Northeast used to be bleak until the new New Jersey Motorsports Park
(NJMP) opens with two tracks...now it is central with Summit, Pocono, within
two hours...Watkins, VIR, Lime Rock within four hours. But, honestly, get a Class B motorhome and an aluminum trailer.
+1! Laguna Seca is still my favorite track of the ones I've been on. Hope to take cayman there one day.

The best is to live in Toterhome USA! Just get yourself a stacker trailer and live on the road...
If you get into racing in a serious way, all bets are off Marilynn! I am already thinking about some long pulls interspersed throughout the year - Daytona, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Road America, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio... You can't live anywhere and be close to all - so buy yourself a sweet toterhome with stacker trailer and go mobile
That is SO tempting.... life has been major cr@p lately on a number of fronts so I have had countless moments when I've wanted to run away. I could actually do it if I had a set up like that! I did take caykid (see the pic in my gallery for THE cutest little future racer in the world) to see the movie Kung Fu Panda this weekend though, THAT was really funny. Being on the track and being with my little guy are the only things that are keeping me going at the moment...

Good to know! I definitely want to try those out as well.
