Mid Ohio Track Weekend pics

schao (Silver Cayman S) and myself (Black Cayman S) were at Mid Ohio last weekend. I didn't think we got any good pics or video but another friend took some photos and I snagged them.

This session we played 'follow the leader', passing each other back and forth, and following 'ourselves' around the track. It was great to see the line, and the Cayman S looks incredibly stable on track. And, no matter where we started with the wing, it went up and down as the speed changed. Funny to watch from behind!

Oh Well, just click on the links for the pics.....

I was thrilled with the Cayman S at the track. Once the hot tire pressures were adjusted (37F 39R, my stock 18's are Bridgestones) the car handled exceptionally well. The brakes were outstanding, and I had no problems using the stock pads. (Ate Blue Fluid) No issues of any kind all weekend, although I turned off the psm after it began to intrude too much. Iclockedquicker laptimes in the stock Cayman S the first time out than I everdid withmy previous car, a very heavily modified 450 bhp Mitsubishi Evo Vlll.

There was a steady crowd of people checking the Cayman S out all weekend, despite the fact it was a BMW club event. There were no negative comments, only compliments. What a great car, and a fun weekend.
