Last week I drove 700 miles from Seattle to Willows, CA to drive at Thunderhill Raceway for two days. Then drove 700 miles back home! The trip gave me an opportunity to test out some new items I've added to the car, including GT3 seats, Schroth 6 point harness, H&R springs and Nitto NT01 r-compound tires (I drove on them to and from the track), and a DL1 datalogger. All the items performed flawlessly!

For comparison, I drove my Lotus Elise at Thunderhill in April and ran a 2:10 (
elise.wmv); But that was on Hoosiers and after I'd driven the car at the track over 3500 miles. So, I'll be back with the Cayman S at THill in September to see if I can get it down to 2:12 on the NT01s or RA1s
