I just purchased a "new to me" Cayman S. Arctic Silver/ Black w/ Sport Chrono, 6 speed, 5800 miles.
I've read some previous posts here where members are making mods for daily driving and DE events. My plans are the same. Care to review some successful updates or mods for this type of driving?
I am coming from a Boxster Special Edition with Tiptronic, and have done a few DE's already.
I have a spare set of Turbo Twist 18" wheels that I think will fit the Cayman for combo street/track tires. I will not use a trailer.

The stock 18' Cayman wheels are better than the turbo twists for street/track combo use. Get a set of those if you don't already have them on your car. I would suggest reading through the ARTICLES section of the website to find all the details on track enhancing modifications.
