A couple of weeks a go several Seattle area buddies and I drove down to Laguna Seca for a fun day of driving on a great track (see other thread for movie). It was worth the 1000 miles to get there!
After driving at Laguna we drove back North to Thunderhill for a couple of track days there; another really fun track. I actually like it better than Laguna simply because there is nothing to hit if one should go off. Then it was another 700 miles back home.
Here is a movie of one of my fastest laps (I was running mostly in the 2:11's with a few dips into 2:10's; with the T5 bypass).

I must say that I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the Cayman S both on and off the track. It is the most neutral car I've ever driven; it is very easy to drive fast! And it is very easy to drive in superb comfort. 2500 miles with 3 track days and 4 travel days is a testament to that! Thank you Porsche
Mooty - I'll be back at Thill Oct 28/29, this time with the Elise on Hoosiers (I should be able to stay with you with that setup )
