Went to a track and did a 0-60 test mile using my GTECH SS computer...3 runs, best time 4.4sec!! All that with EVO filter, Milltek head and TUBI. Tank half full 90 octane, outside temperature around 80 degrees. Sea level. Dropped the clutch around 2700 rpm, psm off, first gear up to 6800rpm, 2nd at 6200...must change gears really really fast to do this....this croc rocks !
btw 1/4 mile came at 12.77 @ 112.5mph...COCOMUCHOLOCO
PSM - Porsche Stability Management
While it can’t overcome the laws of physics, the revolutionary Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system does lend an added degree of balance and control to the Cayman’s mid-engine driving dynamics, inspiring surefooted confidence in corners and extreme situations.
A standard feature on the Cayman and Cayman S, PSM continuously monitors steering input, road speed, yaw velocity and lateral acceleration to calculate the actual direction of travel. If the car begins to steer off line, PSM instantly intervenes with precision brake inputs on individual wheels to help bring the car back onto the driver’s intended path.
If braking alone isn’t enough to correct the vehicle’s cornering line, PSM then calls on the Cayman’s engine management system, adjusting engine output as needed to help stabilize handling. PSM can also compensate in an instant for mid-corner changes in load resulting from deceleration or braking. When Sport mode is selected with the optional Sport Chrono Package, PSM’s threshold for intervention is raised, allowing for greater driver involvement. If you prefer driving without automatic PSM assistance, the system can be set to standby at any time. In this case, it will only intervene under heavy braking, where both front wheels exceed the ABS threshold.
For all of its technical ability, PSM goes virtually unnoticed in everyday driving situations, preserving the Cayman’s natural agility.

I wish Porsche would have presented the CS to us with those capabilities in the first place. Would it have been that big a deal? Of course, it would have stepped on the 911, but I believe Porsche would have sold so many it certainly wouldn't have hurt their profits. At Porsche, profit seems to be the bottom line ( as it is with any business, I guess ). Now I gotta spend around 10 grand more to make the CS what it should have been initially

Team526, The GTECH mounts on the windshield with a suction cup, just a like a radardetector. Costs $199 plus SH. And Ken, yes, the difference with yours I believe you have a flash ECU and I dont. When Porsche said "stirring things up" they were no kidding. Its the hidden message behind their fantastic marketing strategy. Few mods, and voila! Tunning is a huge, growing market....bravo Porsche. Bravo.
Escort Radar
At ESCORT, we're continually improving our line of radar and laser detectors with the best technology. Our latest invention, the GPS-powered PASSPORT 9500ix, is no exception. It provides the best long-range protection against every known radar and laser gun in use in North America, but also incorporates GPS accuracy to silence each and every false alert. It is by far the most intelligent, fully automatic radar and laser detector ever designed. You drive. It learns. End of story. http://www.escortradar.com

BW415,
I plan to do this very soon. A friend gave me a GTECH. Now I just need to mount it on my stock CS windshield and go for it. I'll let you know what I get. I'm not sure I want to rev it to 4500rpm and then drop the clutch, so I probably won't get a 4.8 sec 0-60 time.
