Veni Vedi Vici*...Cayman Club Driver just...

blew out the POC record books this past weekend in L Stock.

The former record in LS WAS 1:37.882 set 4/8/06. Mr. Greenwalt, at 1:33.321 has reset the bar by four (4) seconds, a lifetime on a short track. I expect when the Cayman S drivers add sticky tires they will blow out the LI record and take it down to a 1:30 or better. What I would really like to see is a Cayman S improve the LP time of 1:28.412 in an Improved car.

LI 1:34.679 Chet Fortney 4/8/06
LP 1:28.412 Alex Felton 4/8/06

Congratulations...but note, I am in LP with my 993 and I was lucky to carve out a 1:30.6. Woe is me...soon to be bitten by Cayman cars, they're everywhere, they're everywhere!

Martin - Thanks for the visit & the update. I'm thoroughly enjoying my Cayman S, but do miss the exhaust note of my 993. I also miss some of my RL 993 buddies, but I do stop back now and then.

So, have you driven a Cayman yet?
