1/31/07 track day. There were 3 caymans and one 997 GT3. The top part of vid was 'borrowed' fromm sleepless from last year since i don't have a datalogger and we're about the same lap time!

Gee, how I miss Laguna Seca. Its still my favorite track. Plus, it sucks having to wait until April/May for track days. Of course I may have to wait longer this year, at least until my Cayman gets broken in.
I'm so jealous. LS is my favorite track by far to drive. I've been going there since the mid-90's, when I first caught the bug with my R-package Miata (track-knat). I'm afraid to take my Cayman, as it is leased, and I could not afford to wad it up; despite my having never even spun in 40+ track days.

mooty, i'm going to the ncrc laguna event on 2/12. i'm in the 'point-by' group and in the TT i think i'll be in the GT3 (i believe CS is GT2 but with my street tires i think i get put down one notch). it's midnight blue. hope to see you there!
alex, greg = greg schimdt?
didn't know he's your customer too.
must meet him. i understand he lives on the track hahaha.
when will i see you on track. skip work for a few days, you are the BOSS, you know.
Aye he's a good guy and camps out at the track too Just like you...
As far as me going to the track, even if I went anytime soon you still wouldn't see me OK maybe once every half hour as you lap me I drive like an old lady at the track... You should see/try our C2 though it's getting pretty good!

Actually I hear you can more than handle yourself out there I'd be happy to learn to use the force like you..
On our track car, when it does get out there you gotta give it a spin and give us some feedback. Next time you're in the area, it's the smallest HP car we have but also the lightest and still the most suited I think...
On the GT3, that car is on a different level from the 996 one. I drove them back to back literally and although I dislike the PASM stuff, the car just has increadible balance. It's much more settled too (less frisky) and it even hums! I know the reworked the cams/tuning because the low end is a lot better as well. Those things are putting down like 430rwhp. We're going to figure out some 18s for it so he can track it. The 19s are still too blingy for us but that TPMS needs to go away...
