Hey, two things. First, I'm not sure exactly what the Audi Club requirements might be, but for those who may have an interest here's a copy of the Audi Club notice for an upcoming early spring DE at Heartland Park, KANSAS:

Dear Audi Club Member,
Come drive Heartland Park Topeka, home of the SCCA Runoffs! The Kansas City Chapter of the ACNA will be hosting our 9th Annual Drivers School on March 23rd to 25th of 2007. HPT has undergone a $22 million renovation. Improvements include:
* New pavement for the entire 2.5 mile road course
* New large pro-solo paddock which will be used for exercises
* New pavement in most of the entire infield to handle the Runoffs crowd
* Tech building
* 30 New garages
* Tire building
* Timing & scoring facilities
Despite the increased overhead of HPT, we have been able to keep early bird Student cost down to $300 for the event through strong support of Molle Audi of Kansas City, BHR, Butlers C&D and our other sponsors. Registration is now open with information available on
www.kcaudi.org.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

If I can get back from Sweden in time, I plan on attending with either my Cayman or the Rx8. I know some of you on the CaymanClub site own Audi's as well a Porsche, and FWIW I don't think actually owning, or even if you do own, driving an Audi at the event is required. You will however have to be a member or join the Audi Club. In any event, if interested, it might be worth at least checking with the sponsoring club, the KC Chapter. Having an Audi Club Membership would also probably open other ACNA events to participation, e.g. for those in the Topeka area, another 3 day event to be held at Mid America Motosports track outside Council Bluffs, Iowa in mid April.
That brings up a second link/research tool the track junkies on this site might also want to register with, or at least keep track of, if you haven't already, i.e.
www.motorsportReg.com While not exhaustively comprehensive, the MotorSportReg site does have a pretty lengthy listing of up coming track events through out the contiguous 48 states.
Last but not least, and while not listed (? yet) on the
www.motorsportReg.com site, ACNA will also be putting on a 3 day Miller Motorsport event the last of May, first weekend of June that membership in ACNA should qualify one to participate in, again, even if you do not drive an Audi in the event. The Miller Track with something like going on $100 Million invested and the ability to run in a 4.5 mile 23 turn "full" configuration, or as two 2.2+ mile East and West tracks is worth trying out and seeing in its own right.
HTH &/or encourages some one to come on out to more events with their cars.
Cheers
