I found a fix for the B-Pillar squeak/tick/chirp, which other members discussed in the "Rattle" thread. I don't know that this will apply to everyone, but it worked for me.

Remove the top plastic trim piece (the part with the slot that the seat belt actually goes through). Just pry it up very slowly around the seam...it will pop off.

Then, you will see a bolt that mounts horizontally into the B Pillar. It needs a very slight tightenning. Note that there are actually two obvious bolts visible when the cover is removed. IIRC, the bolt in question is 15mm. The other is bigger and mounts vertically. I was able to get to the bolt in question with a "shorty" open ended wrench. I does not take much, I would guess less than 1/8 of a turn.

The dumbed down idiot temperature gauge. I don’t understand why Porsche has so heavily center weighted the temperature gauge. I would like a gauge that gives me some indication of the water temp and not one that goes to the middle rather quickly and doesn't budge. Oh, yeah while they are at it why not an oil temp gauge?

At the very least they could have included these with the PCM (if ordered). There are enough other screens and gizmos in the PCM that wiring a couple of additional sensors to the PCM would have been easy and not expensive.

Other than that car is too new to have any serious complaints at this point. I can’t even complain about a lack of power at this point because I have to shift at 4200 rpm

Bluetooth and iPod integration. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but my previous 2 cars had BT and my current ride has iPod also, and the increase to quality of life is quite valuable to me, for what would be a small investment on Porsche's part.

The method by which they want you to integrate a phone into this vehicle is refuggingdiculous.

Those are standard. Everything else is optional.

I agree completely with these.

Also:

More standard kit generally....

Why no auto headlight activation? Having had this on my last few cars I count this as as much safety-related as convenience.

Smokers kit deletion (as standard never mind as an option!)

Decently weighted sun visors, with simultaneous forward and side

A 2 year warranty in the UK is extracting the Michael a bit compared to US standard...

Double rear fogs, not single

Of course it's still the best there is .....and don't Porsche know it.

Agreed. The Carerra has both.

I was also curious about the temp gaug (assuming it is engine temp) and it not budging from 80. Ive driven the car hard and inrather hot temps and the needle did not budge from 80. Good job Porsche? Keeping the engine cool? Side note: ive desnorked.

It isn't Porsche keeping the engine cool. Instead it is Porsche "numbing" the needle so that fluctuations of X degrees (what ever they have determined) don't show up as movement of the needle. In other words the gauge is worthless except in extreme overheating situations (which of course is too late). They might as well have just put an idiot light instead of the gauge. Oh, btw the gauge is suppose to be measuring the water/coolant temp.

For me it has got to be the steering wheel. Much too thin. I pretty much love everything else.

BTW, i find it a problem driving the Cayman without tint because it feels as if i'm driving in a fishbowl...garners far too much attention and i don't like everyone looking at me.
Another thing i need to add to my list is the oddments tray (Porsche's term) doesn't stay up.
It's a nuisance when you need to access it and the lid doesn't stay open fully.
