Brake Pad Sensor?
Have a new Cayman S with 750 miles on it. Went to lunch today and had a warning message that came up stating that I had excessive brake pad wear and needed service.
I called the service department and they are guessing this could be a bad sensor, but will not be able to look at it until Wednesday. I was planning a road trip over the weekend. I asked the service department if he thought I could go anyway, he stated that while he is 95% sure it is nothing just can't recommend using the car until it is checked out. Ugh...
Have any of you heard of a similar problem with a brake sensor with so few miles?
Thanks in advance.
