My Cayman keeps locking . . . on its own. I talked to the service manager and he asked me if my garage were close to the kitchen because the microwave might lock the car. (The garage and the kitchen are right beside each other.) But I've run the microwave and it has not locked the car. I've made sure not to run the microwave and the car gets locked. (The service manager thinks I'm nuts. Maybe I am. )

I leave my car in the garage - unlocked -and it's never locked itself.

Could it be that you are inadvertently pressing the lock button on the key fob? It's notoriously easy to do.

I haven't had the self-locking problem (did you get it programmed to lock at say, 5mph? perhaps it was done improperly?), but I have found the front truck to open seemingly on its own, but I think it's me... the key fob is VERY sensitive it seems.

I think maybe Seamus and pointnshoot might have the right idea. Maybe the key fob is too sensitive.
