OK, this is not a big deal, so don't jump down my throat. But is anyone else annoyed that when you wash your car and open either the front or rear lid, that water drips down inside. Just a pet peeve, but my old MB E430 channeled the water into the runoff rails. I know, completely different type of car and no, I don't expect all the same type of engineering. However, I wonder if with just a little thought it could be avoided.

As you might be aware, all Porsches do that...
Annoyed...? All the time....!!!
But I have accepted it as a part of life....Like light comes after dark, the CS will always drip water...!!!
Now, if you want to change nature.....; well good luck buddy, and lemme know the secret if you succeed.......
Funny you mention it because it is the ONLY annoyance this car has given me, heres how i fix it,finish washing and drying, get in,find empty country road(curvy ones work best),drive hard, realize how excellent car is,forget drip
OKbut my old MB E430 channeled the water into the runoff rails . . .
My wife's new MB E320 drips water all over the place. In fact I have never had a car that did not drip after a wash. It's just part of the fun of washing your car.

You know, that's always bugged me too... All of my 7 Porsches over the years have displayed this problem... I have to open the lid, and then very quickly whip a towel across the front and sides of it... sometimes water even gets on the fenders that I've already dried! But, what I really hate is that when I drive the car (it's black) it gets dirty, and the treads of the tires get dirty, too.. it just drives me crazy! You'd think for the price I paid for this car ($75k) Porsche would find a way to solve some of this things! Between that, and no iPod connection, I'm ready to send this one to the crusher... If not, then It makes me want to post in the "complaints" forum.

You're killing me brad......
I think it's great that we have such awesome cars that these are the things that annoy us.

My top flew off at 100 mph. When I pulled over, the whole car burst into flames. Man, I hate when that happens.... Anyone know a shop that's good with fire damage?

My engine melted and my dealer won't warranty it. They fed me some BS about my mods. I have an bigger turbo, bigger injectors, meth injection and TBE. If I put the factory stuff back on, will it run long enough for me to take it to another dealer?

after i wash, i drive my car to air dry--i dab the few water drops off and I am good to go except for the door sills--water quality at my new house is awsome--old house--many spots from hard water
I wash my car, dry it as best I can then go for a drive to complete the drying process. Once fully dry I head home. What really, really anoys me is that it always starts to rain before I get there.
