Am I doing to something wrong? The radio will RANDOMLY change stations. I will be listening to a song and PCM decides something else is better for me and boom, I go from rock to rap. I have also noticed sometimes it will again randomly go from CD to radio, without warning. Am I doing something, what gives here? Oh yeah...the volume. Not sure if this is in my head but sometimes it seems like its all over the place, again without me touching it. That one MIGHT just be in my head though.

I thought that mine was doing it too, until I realized exactly what was going on. With traffic alert selected, it would automatically change when a radio station sent out the right signal. Since I turned it off, I haven't had that happen at all. Keep in mind, I believe there have been reports of defective PCM units doing this. I think I'd check the traffic setting first.

That sounds reasonable, let me look into it. Of course I have never actually got a traffic alert, its always just music. Thanks for the help.

I've also read that PCM gets confused with the RDBS option sometimes. That may be a root of it as well. Good luck!

happened to me today and i was pissed..but i figured it out..the traffic alert.turn it off and its fine

Yep, that seems to have fixed the problem for me. Just not used to this feature...if it were and actual traffic announcement I would have got it, but it was just switching to different music.

Glad I could help. I haven't had it happen once since I deselected that option.

LOL mine goes from classic rock to rap too. Porsche put to much A.I in my CS and would rather listen to 50 cent than the Rolling Stones
