Clutch pedal pushes the clutch master cylinder which through hydraulics, pushes the clutch slave cylinder. No cables.
I suppose if the hydraulic line was loose you might feel it move. But I thought (but not sure) the line was on the left side of the car or perhaps in the center.
The clutch mechanism is all hydraulic - the fluid is shared with your brakes, so there's no cables going to the clutch - the shifting mechanism used cables.

OK then I must be feeling the hydraulic piping move about under my feet. Explains it why my brakes also influence the moving about. Is there just a thin layer of steel plate between our feet and the hydraulic piping?
I don't know what you're feeling, but the floor is pretty thick, and the carpeting and padding are on top of that... I really doubt you're feeling the hydraulic lines moving around...
