I have on both driver and passenger window stains that looks like oily. The Porsche rep is going to look at it on Friday. The service rep thinks it might be the way they laminated the glass. Just wondering if anyone else has jhad a similiar experience.
I too think it maybe the German glass. I haven't noticed it on my CS,but old 356's would form a sort of star pattern on the rear glass when sitting in the sun. Do you notice it in the sun?
My car's over a year old and I still get the streaks

The water-shedding coating is on the outside of the glass only. The grease on the inside of the glass has proven in most cases to be lubricant from the window lifts getting onto the glass... quite a few folks have taken their cars into the dealer and had the excess lubricant taken off of the lift mechanism, and all has been fine since.
