I just completed a two day DE at LRP and have noticed now have oil drips under my car. The oil is dripping from the rear end of the flat panel just adhead of the engine. I'm bring it into the dealership tomorrow for a quick inspection. The gauage hasn't really gone down any so I'm not loosing much, must enough to make a mess on the floor.
I had several goods runs and stayed off the rev limiter. Anyone else have this problem?
Ugh, sorry to hear about this. When was the last time you had an oil change and who did the work? Hopefully it is something simple like a misthread drain bolt.
Are you sure it's oil? The recurrent theme here is power steering fluid leaking. Stopping this syndrome is what the accessory underdrive pulleys are for, and they give you some more HP as a bonus.
When i took my car in for its 20k mile service last Spring (its 4th oil change since new), they found a leak in the cam tower cover in the drivers' side. There's been a few mentions of oil leaks... so it's not unheard of... if that's what it is, it's an easy fix... under warranty.
bad

It could also just be melted cosmoline. The dealer should be able to sort it out.
I thought I had an oil leak but it was hydraulic fluid mixed with melted cosmoline from another bad clutch slave cylinder.

I do my own oil changes and this leak if from the front of the motor, no where near the filter or drain plug. The drips look like motor oild so I'm gong with that. The dealership is taking it in next Tuesday and I'll them check a few other small complaint at the same time.
