Disappearing Seat Memory

Has anyone experienced a complete erasure of all 3 seat memory settings for no apparent reason? There was no loss of power continuity, and all other 'memory' type functions are working normally. Just suddenly no seat memory. No problem resetting it. Ghosts in the machine?

Are you using the same key, or alternate keys? I've found that sometimes people program the memory position with one of the keys and then unknowingly use the other key to recall the positions...which will not have the memory posistions linked to.

No, I only use one key, and if I understand the memory functioning, settings 2 & 3 should remain the same regardless of key. I had three distinctly different settings, and it's probably not accurate to say they all disappeared - setting #1 seems to be about right, but settings 2 & 3 were essentially gone (or set to the same setting as 1). Pushing 2 or 3 did nothing.

I seem to have noticed this. It now works and don't know what happened. I have programed position 1 to be with the seat back, so when I hit the unlock switch, the seat goes back automatically for easy entry, then when I get in, I hit position 2 and the seat goes to where I like to drive. Position 3 is a position lower and more rear in position for when I feel like spirited driving. When I exit in my garage, I select 1 again to have an easier exit with the door only partly open. The only thing is you cannot change seat positions with the selector buttons while moving. So if I need to adjust while moving it has to be done manually.
