Rattle in steering column

Been hearing this rattle coming from the steering column for a while now, took it to the dealer to no success, they replaced the airbag (what for no idea), tightened everything and still I hear the rattle, it's more like a clicking sound when turning the wheel.
Any simalr experiences/how to repair?

I have a slight plasticy rattle in my steering column, almost a ticking sound. If I put pressure upwards on the wheel - it goes away. You got the same noise?

I have a very odd noise in my steering column. When i turn the wheel it almost sounds like paper rubbing against plastic. It definitely isn't a rattle but it is some strange noise. What I am thinking is that it has something to do with my K40 radar detector. There are some wires in that area for lights just under the gauges. Probably a wire running from there down to the fuse panel area or under the steering column where the speaker is. I bought the car used so I have no idea how it is wired up. Any ideas??
