Memory Seats sometimes selective memory?

Have only had the car a few weeks but have noticed that sometimes when I unlock the car with my remote, after my wife used it, the seat does not move back to the memory position for my key. If I touch and hold button #1 it moves to the correct location so it obviously recognized the memory setting from my remote, but choose not to move the seat. This also happens to my wife occassionally when using her key. But it is sporatic. Works correctly about 25% of the time. Anyone else with power seats notice this? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, it seems to be happening to me also but in a slightly different manner. I do have the 3 memories set up in different positions for different driving styles (city more laid back, aggressive and aggressive with a bit more legroom, 6'3" so shoe soles make a difference for me), sometimes when opening the car it would go back to memory position 1 but not fully. It might forget a couple of settings like the seat height or the side position though it would do the lengthwise position and the backrest inclination!!!!!! This sometimes happens also when pressing directly the memory recall switch. Usually pressing a second time will fix the problem, but yes it's annoying.....

Did you ask the dealer about it or did you think it would likely work fine at the time you show it to them? BTW, suddenly this week it seems to be working fine. Come to think about it last week when I was having the problem the mirrors would go to the correct position even if the seat did not.
