Noise coming from rear hatch
Anyone experiencing a clanking sound when you hit bumps in the road coming from the rear hatch on a 07 Cayman S?

there is an article in the article section that outlines the cause of the clunk and a very detailed solution to how it could be fixed. check it out, it might be the source of your problem too
