Well couple of days back as usual I cranked not enough, so engine didn't start and I had to reset sequence again, but it took a longer time than expected to turn over.

Then came a thought - the last time I had this stupid crank like hell don't start issue, on a 911 930, turned out that one of the cylinder was screwed and sucked in a valve. Amazing that it is still running probably months after one of the cylinder stop firing.

On new Bosch motronic engines, when the cylinder not firing it will tell you right?

Help I'm beginning to get psycho thinking of power loss etc.

Yes, in the modern engines a persistant misfire would result in a check engine light.
