Trunk release switch broke ...
Got home last night and lifted the trunk release switch to open the trunk ... nothing happened.

Tried again, and again, and again, and finally ... I must have lifted so hard the plastic piece broke off in my fingers.

Luckily, it wasn't the trunk solenoid - the key worked. Alas, another call to the dealer is in order ...
