Porsche Logo Crono clock rattle

Has anyone other than myself hah the problem of the dashboard Chrono rattleling. Makess no differance what position it's got that nagging rattle. Is there a quick fix other than a trip to dealer?

Mine does it over very bumpy road surfaces. In other words all 4 tires are bouncing (ie cobble stone street). It happens more if the chrono is turned towards the driver position. In the center position it hardly does it at all. It is common from what I read on past posts here in the forum. It is the lens itself that is rattling.

Sadly, it's pretty common; it's the plastic lense that's rattling. No one has posted a quick fix for it yet, either. You can try taking it to the dealer, but I think someone posted here that they tried that and the replacement was as bad as the original.

If you're very careful, you might be able to wedge a tiny piece of foam between the lense and its frame. If that works, please let us know.

So I can just hold it and rotate it??! Maybe the reason mine doesnt rattle is that I havent tried rotating it?!

The whole "wart" doesn't rotate, just the clock bezel. Try pressing on the right or left side of the bezel, it will rotate about 15 degress to either side.
