Porsche Logo 06 Cayman S rear quarter window rattle

Does anyone know what needs to be done to fix this really bad rattle I have....It comes from the driver Side shoulder/head area either where the seatbelt housing is or the actual rear quarter window. The only thing I can do to get it to stop is by pressing fairly hard against (outwards) the DS quarter window while inside the car. It also seems that this windows moves slightly when pressed on...at least noticeably more than the passenger side

Is there something I can do to fix this? I know others have had similar rattles but the search turned up too many "rattle" posts

any help much appreciated

Quite a few folks have reported this same problem as I recall - it usually turns out to be the interior clips that hold the window in place - have the dealer fix it... according to the people who have taken it into the dealer for this, it's a fairly easy fix.

I've taken it in to be "fixed" three times already. It rears it's ugly "chirp" after a few months. I wish Porsche would figure out a real solution to this.

a lot of us had this rattle. it is the screw that holds the B pillar (the vertical part that the window rests against). i cannot find the post that best describes what is happening). you need to remove the plastic piece where the seat belt comes out (see articles). then you will find the screw that needs to be tightened. do not over tighten. i broke mine off, but likely the rattle is still gone (2 years later). do a search and you should more detailed info.
