First Glitch!

i was going to park my car and when i'm slowing down, the gear suddenly change into manual transmission. (i have the tip in my cayman). This happened twice today and it is the first time the Cayman gives me any problem.

So i went to the local dealer ASAP and they told me that they will check it through the computer and reset everything. The dealer told me that they did not find anything wrong so i just went home.

My observation:

1. the glitch did not comes back again, but i have yet drive it alot since coming back from the dealer.

2. There was a post here saying that after they get the dealer to reset the computer, the car feel more "awaken" and it becomes responsive the way the first time they get their cars. I did not feel this way, the car seems just normal to me. So i was wondering did they really do a check on my car?

I just want to share this problem, i hope any of you guys have found solution to this or found this article somehow helpful.

Thank you.

Did you touch the paddles? Clicking either of the paddles when in Auto mode will automatically switch the tranny to Manual mode. After a while, it will switch back to Auto mode. I'm not sure if it's a speed based trigger or a time based trigger.

When I test drove the tip before I got my car, I recall the dealer telling me that it was a time based trigger. But double check with the dealer cos mine is a manual.
