Hissing noise coming from passenger front

Hissing noise coming from passenger front compartment, I live in Los Angeles and do alot of freeway driving. I got my Cayman on day one, and have close to 4500 miles, I listen to my car daily during the commuteandI think thenoise is coming from the AC. I have the AC on all the time, the temperature controls are not the clearest. My setting are 2 bars below the pointer and fan about 5 bars. The weather has beenbetween the 50'sto 80's, and I hear on a daily basis a hiss, or air escaping. A friend that was driving with me said it sounded like his Honda and that it was theway that new airconditioner operate. I still can't believe thatPorsche would make a car so noisy - love the engine noise, hate the hiss. I notice it especially when braking, coming to a rolling stop - anyone hear this?[/quote]

I had a demonstator car for a weekend and it hissed very badly . The only cure was to turn off the AC. I hope mine is not like that when it arrives
