2006 Cayman S, 2700 miles....


I noticed the other day when I was cleaning my car, a spring had jutted out from under the passenger side underbody. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I'm planning to take my car into the dealer this Thursday.

Other Issues:
<ul>[*]Speakers rattling at high-speeds. [*]Cutch seems to 'catch' in 1st or2nd gear occasionally.[/list]

I'm not 100% sure, but could this be the A/C drip tube for condensation?

That's a drain hose, not a spring, you can either push it back up in there some, leaving a bit hanging out, or trim it off, or ask your dealer to do something about it. This is normal.

I'm sorry Jamespson no disrepect intended but you made my day. For the life of me I couldn't imagine how a spring could be sticking out from under the car and then I opened your post and saw the picture. I still can't stop laughing.
