Center brake light buzzing

I just posted a reply in the hatch noise thread here and it reminded me of another hatch problem. I had a buzzing type vibration at around 2500 RPM from the hatch area that was driving me crazy. I finally tracked it down to the center mounted brake light. It is held in place by two screws (the silver torx ones seen below at each end) and both of these were loose. I did not know it at the time I took this picture but you can see that they are not in the same position in the slots of the hatch. You can access them (as I did) without removing the entire hatch cover but you will need a torx socket (T 20 I think) for a 1/4' drive wrench. Just pop the two hatch cover clips at the light, they are easy to see, and tighten the screws. Problem solved.

Third Brake Light Seal

I just purchased a Arctic Silver and I have the third brake light seal issue. Kind of irritating having to go back to the dealer or this on a brand new car.
