Well, its been about a year since the release of the cayman. I have had mine for about 11 months. I was just wondering what warranty issues have come up over the last year for cayman owners. Personally I have only had the issues with the loose pressure plate bolts which has been noted as a problem by many of you over the last year. so...what things have gone wrong with your cayman that were identified and then covered by the warranty?

1. Faulty wiring harness which resulted in PASM failure. Full refund received for the car after 8 months of ownership as the OPC wanted to rewire it. cr since rewired and advertised £2k over list price as it has PASM and SC where there is a long wait in the uk
2. Replacement of a couple of colis on the engine
The most unreliable car that I have had in a long time. Now considering whether to buy another or not
PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management
This active damping system offers continuous adjustment of individual damping forces based on current road conditions and driving style.
The driver can choose from two setup modes, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’, using a separate ‘damper’ button on the center console. ‘Normal’ mode is designed for general road driving and circuits with uneven tarmac. ‘Sport’ mode is intended for smoother track surfaces, where the harder settings help eliminate pitch and roll.
In either mode, PASM continuously evaluates the current conditions while automatically selecting the corresponding damper rates from the respective set of mapped values.
A range of sensors are used to monitor the movement of the body under acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers, as well as on poor road surfaces. The PASM control unit then evaluates this data and modifies the damping force on each individual wheel in accordance with the selected mode. The result is a significant reduction in body movement as well as a better grip on the road.
For example: if ‘Sport’ mode is selected, the suspension is automatically set to a harder damper rating. If the quality of the track surface falls below a certain threshold, the system immediately changes to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range. When the quality of the tarmac improves once more, PASM automatically returns to the original, harder rating.

Bought it in June, 5,400 miles since. The only warranty work was the reseal of the oil pan. It wasn't dripping but it was seeping. The dealer kept the car overnight and gave me a new Q7 as a loaner. No other problems so far.
I got my car on January 27th, and I clocked 10,300 miles yesterday. So far, except for a couple of minor mods all I've done was to change the oil at 2500. That's it so far. No warranty issues yet.

Had mine since May 2006 with 13,400 on the odo. Broken cupholders (and Porsche changed the design on the replacements ) and my passenger window not wanting to roll completely up on the first try.
