Several problems with my Cayman

I picked up my new arctic Silver Cayman on 12/31. I will be bringing it back to the dealer for the following issues:

Hatch clunk (at least I now know what is causing this issue now via this website)

battery cover with the Porshce insignia is not flush when closed (cover is just a flimsy piece of plastic)

Second remote key doesn't work ( I am assuming the battery in the key is dead)

Can't seem to get Homelink to work with my garage

You might have a rolling code garage opener which you have to program by using the little learning button on the actual garge opening motor.

Same problem here. You gotta make you door opener receive "talk" with the homelink system via the learn button.

Let us know what they say about the battery cover. Mine has the same problem.

Also, I will be quite curious as to whether the dealer has a clue about the clunk. Most here that have tried to have the dealer remedy this situation have not been satisfied.

Agree with the posts above regarding the "learning" door opener.

For some additional Homelink Help check these:
Homelink Garage Door Programming
Homelink Lacks Range
Homelink Garage Door Opener - HELP

Your dealer cannot help you if you have the rolling code mentioned above but Homelink has good support if you call their help number.

Passenger_57 or anyone else who has tried this.
I would like to know what the dealer did about the trunk clunk. I've read the remedy posted here on this website but it seems a bit much for me to do on my own. Not to mention the time involved, which I don't have right now.
Has anyone else had the dealer fix this problem successfully?????
Many thanks....

When I was getting my CS, I noticed that my battery cover wasn't flush, either. The salesman fiddled with it for a couple of minutes and eventually got everything reseated properly. The cover can be made to fit correctly, it just takes a little effort, and seems a little cheesy (especially compared to the rest of the car).
