Meteor Grey
19” Turbo Wheels
Cocoa interior
Full leather
Sports seats
Short shifter PASM Sport Chrono pack
Bose
Thicker sports steering wheel
Bi-Xenon lights
Parking assist
Mats
I think that’s it – I’m still not sure about the exterior colour – Meteor Grey is a very safe colour but I can’t quite bring myself to go for Yellow or Red and the silvers are too common. Black is a no go thanks to the sand/dust swirling the paintwork – also not good given the sun here.
PASM - Porsche Active Suspension Management
This active damping system offers continuous adjustment of individual damping forces based on current road conditions and driving style.
The driver can choose from two setup modes, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’, using a separate ‘damper’ button on the center console. ‘Normal’ mode is designed for general road driving and circuits with uneven tarmac. ‘Sport’ mode is intended for smoother track surfaces, where the harder settings help eliminate pitch and roll.
In either mode, PASM continuously evaluates the current conditions while automatically selecting the corresponding damper rates from the respective set of mapped values.
A range of sensors are used to monitor the movement of the body under acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers, as well as on poor road surfaces. The PASM control unit then evaluates this data and modifies the damping force on each individual wheel in accordance with the selected mode. The result is a significant reduction in body movement as well as a better grip on the road.
For example: if ‘Sport’ mode is selected, the suspension is automatically set to a harder damper rating. If the quality of the track surface falls below a certain threshold, the system immediately changes to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range. When the quality of the tarmac improves once more, PASM automatically returns to the original, harder rating.

Sport Chrono and Chrono Plus
This optional package is a valuable addition for trackday use. Available in conjunction with the CDR-24 CD radio, it includes a swivel-mounted analog and digital timer unit which is centrally located on the dashboard. All functions are easily accessible via the control stalk for the on-board computer. Analog dials measure hours, minutes and seconds, while a separate digital field displays whole seconds, tenths and one hundredths of a second. A second digital display runs in parallel in the instrument cluster. Click this Link to visit the FAQ entry for Sport Chrono.
Have you considered Carrara white? It goes well with either the Coca or the Terracotta leather. I have the turbo wheels and I think they look very good on the CS and are not common because they weren't available in MY06. My CS is white. Have a look at my gallery. One thing I would definitely get is TPMS. It is not expensive and really does work and helps you avoid the pain of manually checking the tyre pressure. BOSE is also resonably good. Otherwise, you seem to have ticked all the right boxes.
TPMS
TPMS - The Tire Pressure Monitoring System provides early warning of any drop in pressure by continuously monitoring the pressure in each tire and alerting you in the onboard computer display in the event of a pressure deficiency. It communicates the exact pressure of each tire and/or their deviation from ideal pressure. This does away with the need for regular air pressure checks at the service station, which often prove highly inconvenient.
A nice list of options.. Meteor should look great with Cocoa, however I think turbo wheels look best with white or black. If you're going for Meteor, i think Sport Designs would look better.. Good luck!
Hope you get a production slot soon.. the earliest they gave me in Syria was September .. They told me theyd try to get an earlier date with the Middle East HQ in dubai so im waiting.
TPMS was opional in '06, but is standard equipment for '07 models...

Zal - can't bring myself to get a white car even though have to say it looks quite nice and is very practical for this part of the world.
Fair enough about the Sport Design wheels - Which I also like.
I'm also toying with the idea of GT Silver with the Carrera Sport wheels - They are nice rims.
The way I look at park assist, and Zal will back me up on the hassle of getting even small cosmetic work done on insurance in the UAE, is that if it saves me one ding then it has repaid itself.
Been to Dubai. White is much harded color than the darker or metallic colors. As for PDC, someone else will be providing the dings rather than you. I've put 12,500 miles on mine in 10 months, sport seats are not a necessity. Might want to consider the rear deck sunshade. Also opt for the new sport exhaust tailpipes - the SS will look and wear much better than the (ugly) stock trapezoidals.
PSE - Porsche Sports Exhaust System
The acoustics of this dual-mode sports exhaust system are dependent on driving style, ranging from standard output during normal road driving to a more aggressive tone during performance use. Modes are selected using a button on the center console (or ‘Sport’ mode button on vehicles with optional Sport Chrono Package/Sport Chrono Package Plus).
Introduction planned for 04/2007. Some models may require additional components. For detailed information about this product, please contact your Porsche dealer.

GT Silver would be the best choice of the silver colors because it has a touch of brown color in the paint mixture--would look great with the cocoa interior you want.
Indeed, AsterixTG. The selection of color is most subjective. Thus it is most difficult or at least for me. You want to get the color you like and can live with for a long time and yet not too many people have it. That is hard. Good luck with you purchase.
