New Cayman S owner

After narrowing down the options I wanted and realizing no major changes for MY08 (thanks in large part to this forum), I finally pulled the trigger this past weekend on a new 2007 Cayman S black/black and am loving every minute of it. The Cayman is a pure joy to drive and looks stunning.

I bought it on Saturday. Then went up to Wheel Enhancement on Monday to change out the wheels to the SportDesign. After that, I wasn't going to make it in the office so I ended up taking a cruise up the coast. See attached pictures.

The only problem I have now is that I need a much longer commute.......

Options:
Xenons
PCM
Bose
SportDesign (w/PS2s)
Clear bra on front bumper only

Hey, congratulations! Get ready for countless stares while driving in trtaffic. Just the other day, some huge Mack dump truck pulled up next to me and told me how I had such a gorgeous car and thought it was the coolest looking car he'd ever seen. Enough about me, what I really wanted to know was how that wheel exchanging process went. I got the Cayman S wheels, but wanted those sport design ones. My dealer said it couldn't be done .

A lot of us have had bouts of Cayman Flu. It takes a long time to abate, but eventually it may go away. Some have continued to exhibit symptoms, even as long as a year after the initial infection.

Congtratulations, and good health!

Very nice! I'm partial to the Sport Design wheels myself! Congratulations.

Porsche Logo Congratulations!

Congratulations and Welcome to the CaymanClub cs1! If you haven’t already done so, please take a brief moment to add The Black Beauty to our registry. The 19” Sport Design Wheels are a nice touch as they add a subtle degree of class to an already beautiful Porsche Cayman S. Well done! Thank you for sharing your photographs with us. I greatly appreciate it. Enjoy the adventures and curves that lie ahead.

Wheel Enhancement is a company in LA that will exchange out/trade your stock porsche wheels for another porsche wheel (or any of the other wheels they carry). The upside is that many of the dealers out here use them when a customer wants a wheel they dont have in stock and (at least in my case) where able to include the price in the financing. Because of your location I dont know if they can do anything for you, but you can try giving them a call and see. Their number is (310) 836-8908. Good luck!
