So, if the BBI is a 16%, this means that the MS pulley underdrives the accessories by almost twice as much.

Does this mean that the MS likely results in even greater power gains?

Would you expect that this is a linear relationship?

Apart from the potential for more power gains, the biggest factor causing me to lean towards MS is that they have been proven in the field with (to my knowledge) no problems.

Comments?

I seriously doubt it, I heard 15% and was good for about 6HP. I have held them both and there is not that much difference in size. I bought the mantis and was going to have it installed, but bbi didn't like the way the belt fit and that it looked unbalanced, and was then tested and confirmed that it was unbalanced. Betim at bbi called one of his former colleagues at Porsche and got some information and designed a better one.

Mantis told me over the phone a few weeks ago that their pulley was a 20% underdrive. It bet the 29% was a typo (9 is right next to 0 on the keyboard).

Dam, Santa Fe is always right the search button does wonders!

Sump Extensions, Windage Tray & Underdrive Pulleys

They said hear it is 20%
I do know several people using the Mantis with no problems at all, but is more expensive and you have to buy the tool in addition to the pulley.

Pick one and install it and you will be happy!

Chart from BBI 262.9 before, 276.5 after.
BBI:" On our dyno, we found 7 peek hp and up to 10 mid range hp."
I would expect say 3HP contrubuted so from the clean filter.
I all good yah.
